Job Description

Position : Project Engineer - Construction Exp : 5 to 8 Years in Project Qualification : BE Civil Salary : 4 LPA to 6 LPA Willing to travel all over India Reporting location : Sholinganallur, CHENNAI. 1. Project Planning and Design: Participate in project planning meetings to understand project requirements and objectives. Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Contribute to the design process by providing technical expertise and input. Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations. 2. Construction Management: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available as needed. Monitor construction progress and quality to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction and propose solutions. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. 3. Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, contracts, change orders, and RFIs (Requests for Information). Prepare regular progress reports for project managers and stakeholders. Assist in the preparation of final project documentation, including as-built drawings and close-out reports. 4. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all work meets applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement quality assurance measures to identify and address potential issues early in the construction process. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and safety standards. 5. Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and regulatory agencies. Communicate project status, milestones, and any potential issues or delays to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
