Project Engineer (Civil)

Role Overview: As a Project Engineer (Civil) in Construction/Project Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of industrial construction projects. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be essential in supporting senior project managers to deliver successful projects. Key Responsibilities: - Support senior project managers by preparing reports, charts, and project documentation. - Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. - Coordinate design and engineering activities across different disciplines and conduct clash checks for various aspects such as PEB, civil works, piping, ducts, and openings. - Prepare preliminary schedules, bar charts, catch-up plans, and look-ahead schedules. - Assist in cost estimating, tendering processes, and preparation of tender documentation. - Proactively resolve bottlenecks by expediting and following up on submissions. - Track and report potential or actual project conflicts to the project manager. - Expedite resolutions for queries during the execution stage. - Record meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) or Masters in Construction/Project Management (M. Tech in CPM). - 2-4 years of experience in project or construction management within consultancy or construction organizations. - Experience in industrial construction projects is preferred. - Basic understanding of cost estimation, tendering, and documentation. - Proficiency in preparing schedules, bar charts, and project tracking tools. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong coordination and follow-up abilities to remove bottlenecks and expedite progress.
