Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer with expertise in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and management of HVAC projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. This role requires comprehensive exposure to both high-side and low-side projects, including VRF, VRV systems, chillers, and related technologies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning: o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. o Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys to ensure project readiness. o Collaborate with design and engineering teams to finalize project specifications. 2. Project Execution: o Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems, including VRF, VRV, and chiller systems. o Ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices. o Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution. 3. Project Management: o Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. o Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. o Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders. 4. Technical Expertise: o Provide technical guidance on high-side systems (e.g., chillers, compressors) and low-side systems (e.g., ducting, piping, air distribution). o Ensure compatibility of HVAC systems with other building services and structural requirements. o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution. 5. Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. o Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and as-built records. Qualifications and Skills: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. · Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC project management and execution. · Technical Expertise: o Comprehensive knowledge of VRF, VRV systems, chillers, and other HVAC technologies. o Hands-on experience in high-side and low-side HVAC installations. · Skills: o Strong project planning and organizational abilities. o Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar project management tools. o Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. · Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE) are a plus.
