Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of the DPMU team, the Project Coordinator will:

1. Assist in building a block-wise database for Persons with disabilities.

2. Support in implementation of UDID, ADIP, SIPDA, and skilling initiatives. Coordinate activities

related to education, healthcare, skilling and schemes for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

3. Engage with NGOs, and rehab professionals in the Basti region.

4. Help conduct training for frontline workers (ASHA, AWW, teachers, etc.) and organize community engagement drives.

Desired Skill Sets:

• Fresh graduates or professionals with 1–2 years of experience in the social sector.
• Exposure to community-based projects or data collection/monitoring preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management and a commitment to promote disability inclusion at grassroot level in the district.
• Experience with disability inclusion or working with marginalized populations is desirable.
• Must be willing to relocate to Basti, Uttar Pradesh. Ability to travel locally and work closely with communities.
• Persons with Disabilities with relevant experience are especially encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with the district professionals.
• Experienced in the social sector.
• Digital literacy and documentation skills preferred.
• Fluency in Hindi (and/or Awadhi); basic English proficiency with Strong communication and coordination skills.
