Project Assistant - FOIA Request Specialist

As a Project Assistant / Email Outreach Executive at SSB Media, your role will involve assisting in building compelling true crime video content for the YouTube channel Patrol Stories TV. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Identifying and researching relevant US Police Departments for data acquisition. - Drafting and sending professional emails to request incident reports, FIRs, and case-related material. - Following up on pending requests and maintaining proper communication. - Organizing and structuring collected data to ensure accuracy and usability for video scripts. - Maintaining and updating request status using CRM tools or Excel/Google Sheets. - Working closely with the content and research team to curate authentic, story-driven materials. - Ensuring legal and ethical compliance while handling public data. To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Graduate in any field (Mass Comm, Journalism, Law, or English preferred). - 6 months to 1 year of experience in email communication, research, or outreach-based roles. - Excellent email writing and professional communication skills. - Familiarity with CRM tools or Excel for tracking and follow-ups. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Interest in true crime, documentaries, or real-life cases is a big plus. In addition to a performance-based salary ranging from 15,000 to 35,000, you will have the opportunity to work on a unique and fast-growing YouTube project at SSB Media.
