Project Architect

We are looking for an experienced Project Architect to lead the design and

coordination of our residential developments across various project stagesfrom

concept design to completion. The ideal candidate should have a deep

understanding of residential planning, local byelaws, and construction detailing,

along with the ability to work closely with consultants, contractors, and internal

teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for residential projects, including villas,

apartments, and plotted developments

• Prepare and review conceptual layouts, detailed drawings, and working

drawings

• Coordinate with external architects, consultants (MEP, structural), and

vendors to ensure design integrity and compliance

• Ensure adherence to CMDA, DTCP, RERA, and other relevant development

norms and regulations

• Review contractor submittals and drawings for alignment with approved

designs

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Project Management, Sales, and

Procurement to ensure design objectives are met

• Conduct periodic site visits to verify construction against design intent and

resolve on-site design issues

• Support authority submissions and approval processes by preparing

necessary documentation

• Participate in value engineering and design optimization exercises to balance

aesthetics, function, and cost

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets from design perspective

• Guide and mentor junior architects and design staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch); Masters degree is a plus

• Registered Architect with Council of Architecture (COA) preferred.

• 8–10 years of experience in residential real estate or architectural firms

handling residential projects

• Strong understanding of Chennai-specific building byelaws, codes, and

approval processes

• Knowledge of building codes, materials, construction techniques, and

sustainability principles.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit

• Strong eye for detail, spatial planning, and functionality

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
