Job Description

Job Title: Programming Head for one of the leading Radio Station

Location : Guwahati, 5 days working(WFO)

Job Summary

The Programming Head is responsible for leading the creative and strategic direction of the radio station, delivering engaging, audience-focused content while strengthening brand leadership and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the stations programming strategy and creative vision.
Oversee show planning, content curation, and on-air promotions.
Manage, mentor, and develop RJs, producers, and programming teams.
Ensure high-quality on-air content across live and recorded programming.
Analyze audience insights, ratings, and market trends to drive engagement.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on branded content, promotions, and campaigns.
Integrate digital platforms and live events to extend audience reach.
Ensure compliance with broadcasting regulations and internal standards.

Key Requirements

Experience in radio, television, or media programming.
Strong understanding of content creation, audience behavior, and market trends.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Creative, strategic thinker with strong communication skills.
