Program Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound calls and faxes, identifying customer needs.
• Conduct outbound insurance verification calls and document outcomes.
• Process patient applications and determine eligibility per program guidelines.
• Coordinate prescription orders with specialty pharmacies.
• Educate patients on insurance and therapy access options.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs strictly.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
• Demonstrate empathy and problem-solving skills in customer interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

• Overall 1.6 years

  in customer service or a customer-facing role and minimum

  1 year mandatory experience in the

  US healthcare industry

  .
• Familiarity with

  HIPAA guidelines

  and handling sensitive data.
• Comfortable working in both remote and office settings.

• Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized regular college/university.

• Skills:

• Excellent English communication (verbal & written).
• Typing speed of

  35 WPM with 85% accuracy

  .
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High accountability and urgency in task execution.
