Title/Position:Program Manager

Location:Bangalore

Education: Bachelor s degree

Experience:10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Business Unit headin defining strategy for the BU

Responsible & accountable forengineering execution and deliveries for customer projects across globe

Work proactively with differentstake holders in the organization for successful execution and projectreporting

Work proactively with HR team forhiring talented and capable engineers to fulfil the business needs

Mentor the teams growth &create a conducive environment in the BU for their success

Support sales team in customerfacing activities, proposal preparation to win business

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Software Program Manager with abackground in the automotive industry and expertise in Agile methodologies. Theideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex softwareprojects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.Knowledge of HIL/SIL, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Jira ,and GitHub is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead and manageend-to-end software development projects in the automotive domain, ensuringalignment with business goals and customer requirements.

Define project scope,goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed projectplans, timelines, and budgets.

Agile Implementation:

Drive Agile practicesand methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) across cross-functional teams.

Facilitate sprintplanning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

Ensure continuousimprovement by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the developmentprocess.

StakeholderCollaboration:

Act as the primary pointof contact for internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams,product managers, and customers.

Communicate projectstatus, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to all stakeholders.

Compliance andStandards:

Ensure compliance withautomotive industry standards, particularly ISO 26262 forfunctional safety.

Collaborate with qualityassurance teams to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Tool Proficiency:

Utilize Jira forproject tracking, backlog management, and reporting.

Leverage GitHub forversion control, code reviews, and collaboration.

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, andmitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle.

Proactively addressissues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

Team Leadership:

Mentor and guidecross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative workenvironment.

Promote a culture ofaccountability, transparency, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s ormaster s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a relatedfield.

Experience:

Overall 10years ofexperience in which 5+ years of experience in software project/programmanagement, preferably in the automotive industry.

Experience with automotiveembedded systems and software.

Good understanding ofAgile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.).

Familiarity with ISO26262 and its application in automotive software development.

Experience with versioncontrol systems like GitHub .

Skills:

Excellent leadership,communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solvingand decision-making abilities.

Ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of automotivesoftware development processes and tools.

Good-to-Have:

Certification in Agile(e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).

Familiarity with CI/CDpipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of otherautomotive standards like AUTOSAR, ASPICE, etc.

Working knowledge withHIL/SIL
