Lead and oversee the successful execution of large-scale battery energy storage system projects. responsible for managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs that span engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational integration. This role is critical to the deployment of grid-scale and C&I (commercial and industrial) energy storage projects that drive the energy transition towards decarbonization, grid resiliency, and renewable integration
1. Lead cross-functional program teams through the full project lifecycle (initiation to closure) for BESS projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
2. Develop detailed project execution plans (PEPs), schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Manage multiple concurrent BESS projects across various geographies while ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
1. Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams (engineering, supply chain, construction, compliance) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, EPCs, utilities, permitting authorities).
2. Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving conflicts or roadblocks.
1. Identify program risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Ensure adherence to local and international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Drive quality assurance and control practices across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.
1. Monitor and control program budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Report on financial performance, earned value, and variances to senior leadership.
1. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and value engineering of BESS systems (including inverters, batteries, BMS, EMS, and PCS).
Support technology selection and system integration across hardware and software components.
1. Develop KPIs and dashboards to track program performance and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
Conduct program reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Working knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
