As a Production Team Leader - Machining at ZF, your role involves managing operators in the line operation by workstations, overseeing hourly count performance & cell performance board, ensuring adherence to standard work, SHE standards, 5 S standards, Change over standards, and tooling management. You will also be responsible for training, coaching, and assessing line operators, as well as engaging operations for Employees suggestions in S/Q/C/P, and more. Qualifications required for the position include: - 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the automotive sector, with expertise in manufacturing systems and continuous improvement practices. - Proven ability to implement advanced manufacturing concepts like Kaizen, Lean, SMED, and TQM, achieving cost optimization and waste reduction. - Proficiency in MS Windows, AutoCAD, PLC, and CNC programming, with a deep understanding of manufacturing automation and processes. - Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of coordinating value stream support functions and cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and analytical skills, coupled with a disciplined, systematic, and integrity-driven approach to managing complex manufacturing environments.
