Job Title: Production Support Team Lead Location: Coimbatore Shift: Night Shift Experience: 4-6 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Production Support Team Lead to manage and support our critical applications running on RPG and SQL platforms. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with backend support, lead a small team, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure smooth application operations with a focus on incident resolution and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the production support activities for key applications. Provide L1/L2 support for applications built using RPG and SQL . Monitor system health and respond to incidents and issues promptly. Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent resolutions for recurring issues. Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex problems. Document standard procedures and support playbooks. Ensure SLAs and performance targets are met consistently. Mentor and guide junior team members. Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience with RPG (IBM iSeries/AS400) programming. Proficient in SQL and database troubleshooting. Good understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience in production support leadership roles. Good-to-Have / Preferred Skills: Awareness or working knowledge of JavaScript , Angular , and Vue.js . Willingness to learn and work with Python for long-term automation and integration goals. Exposure to monitoring tools and job schedulers is a plus. Work Requirements: Must be willing to work in night shifts (including weekend rotations if required). Should Interact with the Onsite Team on need basis. Should be flexible, dependable, and ready to take ownership. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
