Orchestration and Integration Team Job Title: MES Integration & Orchestration Engineer Location: Coimbatore/Hyderabad Technical Role Overview: The MES Integration & Orchestration Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable middleware and integration frameworks that enable seamless data flow between the MES, enterprise systems (JDE, CEBOS, FIIX), and IIoT sources. This role requires deep expertise in API development, message queuing, and real-time orchestration to ensure data integrity and low latency communication across systems. Key Technical Responsibilities: Middleware/API Development: Design and implement robust RESTful APIs to expose MES functionalities and facilitate integration with external systems (JDE, CEBOS, FIIX). Develop middleware solutions using Java/Python frameworks (Spring Boot, Django/Flask) to manage data translation and orchestration. Data Orchestration & Messaging: Leverage message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) to build asynchronous, event-driven architectures for real-time data streaming. Develop orchestration workflows to coordinate complex data flows, ensuring that data is synchronized and validated across disparate systems. Integration Pipeline Management: Maintain and optimize data integration pipelines, ensuring robust error handling, data consistency, and adherence to SLAs. Collaborate with the Development Team to standardize data formats and secure API endpoints. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms (e.g., ELK, Splunk) to continuously track the performance of integration pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in real time, ensuring minimal disruption to operational data flows. Required Technical Skills: Extensive experience in RESTful API development and middleware integration. Proficiency in Python, including modern frameworks Django/Flask/Fast API). Hands-on experience with message queuing systems like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with industrial protocols and enterprise systems integration (JDE, ERP systems). Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills. Experience with containerization and orchestration is a plus. Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in system integration or orchestration within MES or industrial automation environments.
