Production supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, your role involves supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers to ensure smooth operations. Your key responsibilities include: - **Daily Operations:** - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers. - Ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Allocate tasks to workers and manage workflow on the production floor. - **Quality Assurance:** - Monitor output to ensure quality standards are met. - Address product defects and initiate corrective actions when necessary. - Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain standards. - **Team Leadership:** - Train, coach, and evaluate production staff. - Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety. - Resolve employee issues or escalate as needed. - **Process & Efficiency Improvement:** - Recommend and implement improvements to production processes. - Monitor machine utilization, minimize downtime, and optimize efficiency. - Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - **Health & Safety:** - Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. - Conduct safety checks and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment. - Report and investigate accidents or unsafe practices. - **Reporting:** - Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports and downtime logs. - Communicate production updates and challenges to management. - Participate in daily production meetings. Additionally, you will be expected to work a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. Day shift availability is preferred, and the work location is in person.,
