Job Responsibilities:

• Shift Planning & Workforce Allocation

Develop and manage weekly shift schedules aligned with production forecasts, ensuring balanced shift rotation and optimal utilization of manpower across workstations.

• Daily Operational Leadership

Conduct structured shift opening meetings to communicate daily production plans, quality objectives, and safety protocols, ensuring team alignment and readiness.

• Production Monitoring & Issue Resolution

Oversee real-time progress at each assembly station, proactively identifying bottlenecks and coordinating timely resolution of technical or process-related issues.

• Quality & Compliance Management

Ensure full compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and QMS standards; lead audit preparations and effectively close non-conformities and observations with proper documentation and root cause analysis.

• Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with PPC, Maintenance, Quality, and Stores departments to resolve operational challenges, streamline material flow, and maintain uninterrupted production continuity.

• Continuous Improvement

Proficient in lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke. Promote continuous improvement through lean principles, effective utilization of equipment and workforce. Fostering autonomy of machines and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.

• Team building and Skill enhancement

Facilitate team-building initiatives and skill enhancement programs to foster collaboration, growth, and high-performance culture.

Skill Set Requirement:

• UAV Systems Expertise

Hands-on experience on UAV with strong knowledge of structural and airframe systems including flight controls, propulsion, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Propulsion & Engine Handling

Well-versed in UAV propulsion system integration and performance tuning. Practical experience in assembly, calibration and maintenance of engines for UAVs.

• Flight Control & Servo Mechanisms

Carry out integration of flight control surfaces with the airframe, including servo control rod adjustments to ensure optimal system alignment.

• Fabrication & Structural Repairs

Skilled in repair techniques of UAV structure and parts. Capable of executing structural repairs in line with aerospace standards.

• Technical Interpretation & Assembly Processes

Strong ability to interpret complex assembly drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical documentation. Experienced in various assembly processes including sealant application, riveting, welding and fastener installation.

• Aircraft Weighing & CG Analysis

Knowledge of UAV weight and balance procedures. Capable of interpreting weight-balance sheets and configuring center of gravity (CG) data for flight readiness.

• Fixture & Tooling Knowledge

Familiar with various categories of assembly fixtures, including their qualification, usage and preventive maintenance practices to ensure tooling reliability and accuracy.

• Knowledge of aviation POL (Petroleum, Oil, Lubricant) management

Handling, storage and usage of fuels and lubricants in compliance with safety and operational standards for UAV ground and flight operations.
