Safety & Training Maintain zero-accident safety practices, ensuring a safe working environment. Conduct safety training sessions (minimum 60 hours per quarter). Implement best practices in workplace safety, including GEMBA walks and POSH compliance. 4. Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and train the fabrication team to improve efficiency and quality. Foster a collaborative work culture, reducing conflicts and enhancing team morale. Manage workforce planning, task delegation, and performance reviews. 5. Process Optimization & Cost Management Reduce fabrication cycle times and minimize material waste. Implement SAP-based production planning (PP Module, QM Basic) for better workflow. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 6+ years of experience in fabrication, quality control, and manufacturing. Experience with heavy fabrication (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, structural components, etc.). Skills & Competencies: Expertise in fabrication techniques, welding, and inspection methods. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and process improvements. Excellent people management and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in fabrication software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
