Responsibility

• PCB Assembly & Rework:

  Assemble and rework surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components on PCBs using precision tools and hot air rework stations. Perform trace repair, pad reconstruction, and jumper wire installation.

• Soldering & Desoldering:

  Perform manual soldering and desoldering of PCB components.

• Testing & Troubleshooting:

  Conduct functional and continuity testing of PCB assemblies. Diagnose and resolve faults such as shorts, opens, and signal integrity issues.

• Inspection & Quality Control:

  Carry out visual inspections to verify solder quality, component placement, and overall PCB integrity. Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610, AS9100, and customer-specific quality standards.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain records of test results, rework activities and inspection findings. Update technical documentation to reflect modifications, repairs and component changes.

• Compliance & Safety:

  Follow ESD protection protocols, safety standards requirements during all PCB handling and repair activities.

• Collaboration & Support

  Coordinate with design engineers, quality teams, and production staff to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement.

• Workstation Hygiene & Efficiency

  Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles. Ensure proper care and calibration of tools, equipment, and rework stations.

Skill Set Requirement

• PCB Assembly & Rework

  : Skilled in assembling and reworking PCBs with through-hole and SMD components. Proficient in soldering, desoldering, trace repair, and jumper wire installation using IPC-7711/7721 standards.

• Schematic & Layout Interpretation

  : Able to read and understand PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams with accuracy.

• Component & Connector Handling

  : Experienced in handling electronic components and aviation-grade connectors with proper ESD precautions.

• Testing & Troubleshooting

  : Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and ATE for fault diagnosis and signal integrity checks.

• Tool Proficiency

  : Hands-on experience with soldering irons, hot air stations, reflow ovens, microscopes, and ESD-safe tools.
