Production Supervisor-Assembly Shop

As a Production Supervisor in the Assembly Shop, you will be responsible for managing a team of 20-24 workmen. Your key responsibilities include: - Administrative control of the team, including manpower management, training, and skill development. - Ensuring compliance with line documentation as per applicable standards. - Achieving targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Implementing process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. - Conducting efficiency analysis, line and process balancing. - Ensuring workplace safety by adherence to safety standards, rules, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. - Performing defect analysis and implementing countermeasures. - Training new workmen and providing counselling, mentoring, and conflict resolution support. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production. - Work Experience: 3-7 years in a relevant field. In addition to the above responsibilities, your technical skills should include expertise in vehicle assembly processes and hands-on experience with tools and limit wrench usage. Basic knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is also required. On the behavioral side, you should demonstrate target orientation, good analytical skills, conflict management, flexibility to work in shifts, teamwork, networking skills, and effective communication with subordinates and seniors.
