Production Shift Incharge

Role Overview: As a Production Shift Incharge Moulding, you will be responsible for managing the shift-wise operations in the moulding section. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of production activities, meet production targets, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shift-wise OEE. Key Responsibilities: - Allocate shift-wise manpower effectively in the moulding section. - Achieve production targets for all machines and parts during the shift. - Maintain shift-wise OEE as per defined targets. - Troubleshoot technical problems in moulding machines. - Optimize resources to reduce mould changeover time. - Identify and address root causes of lumps generation. - Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce lumps/rejections. - Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance shift-wise OEE. - Report any 4M changes (Man, Machine, Method, Material) during the shift. - Document and escalate abnormal situations encountered during the shift. - Prepare and submit daily production MIS reports. - Address major production losses promptly and eliminate root causes. - Ensure implementation and maintenance of 5S practices in the moulding section. Qualification Required: - Prior experience in a production shift incharge role, preferably in the moulding industry. - Strong understanding of production processes and machinery. - Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. - Knowledge of OEE principles and continuous improvement methodologies. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
