Production Officer

1. Production Planning:

Execute production plans as per instructions and defined processes, ensuring availability of resources through coordination with the Stores department. Modify production schedules based on forecast and stock requirements, prepare daily production reports, and analyze deviations with corrective actions. Plan manpower requirements in coordination with HR and ensure appropriate selection and availability of machinery and equipment.

2. Production Controlling & Monitioring:

Control and monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and maximum operational efficiency with minimal wastage. Train and guide machine operators and workers to maintain quality, safety, and process compliance, including weighing and processing activities. Ensure strict implementation of food safety systems, health and safety norms, ERP entries, batch traceability, and effective handling of NCPs while maintaining a zero-error production approach.

3. Coordination:

Maintain daily coordination with the QC department regarding quality of finished and semi-finished goods and send samples for testing and preservation. Liaise regularly with Stores for raw and packing material availability and with the Mechanical department for maintenance schedules and upgrades. Support the Factory Manager in overall plant development, training initiatives, and health and safety standards, and assist in handling customer complaints through effective root cause analysis.

4. Administration:

Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions for process and product improvements while maintaining accurate production records, batch details, and document preservation. Drive cost efficiency without compromising safety, GMP, or ISO compliance, and prepare, review, and present relevant reports. Train and motivate production staff, coordinate with concerned departments, and carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by seniors to maintain overall departmental efficiency.
