Role & responsibilities Job Summary: The Factory Manager will oversee daily operations at our food manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. The role requires strong leadership in managing production, maintenance, quality control, and safety while driving continuous improvement across the factory. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing process to meet production schedules. Job Role Summary The Machine Operator will operate production machines, support daily manufacturing activities, maintain product quality, follow safety and hygiene rules, and coordinate with QC, maintenance, and store teams to ensure smooth production. Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Machine & Production Work Collect the work order from the supervisor, coordinate with the store for materials, and bring the issued raw and packing materials to the production line. Operate machines as instructed, support machine cleaning and CIP activities, and set rolls with batch coding. Production is started only after QC verification and approval. 2.Quality & Packing Checks Check product weight, filling, sealing, and packing at all stages including primary, secondary, and tertiary. Ensure correct batch coding, labeling, and compliance with QC parameters, and store finished goods as per defined pallet height and storage guidelines. 3.Shop Floor Monitoring Ensure smooth production flow by monitoring machines and workers and handling basic labor issues. Regularly check product and machine temperatures while minimizing wastage, spillage, and leakage. Assist in machine cleaning during shutdown periods. 4.Safety, Hygiene & Compliance Follow food safety, hygiene, SOP, GMP, and 5S practices while ensuring all safety rules are strictly followed. Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine issues and support QC by providing samples whenever required. 5.Other Duties Prepare simple daily reports related to startup, shutdown, and packing materials. Dispatch semi-finished and finished goods to the depot after approval and carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
