Job Title:

Officer / Senior Officer – Production

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering Or Graduate in Science (Chemistry / Pesticides)

Experience:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Agro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemical, or Pesticide Industries.

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in shop floor operations, equipment handling, and chemical process management with hazardous chemicals (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of reactor, ANFD, and distillation column operations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities (especially in shift operations).

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute daily production activities as per micro plan and ensure shift-wise production targets are achieved.
• In case of breakdowns, immediately inform seniors/Engineering Dept., coordinate for quick resolution, and implement alternate arrangements.
• Ensure operations are carried out as per defined controls, log sheets, SOPs, and work instructions; record and maintain accurate data.
• Minimize changeover time and carry out equipment decontamination as per procedures.
• Monitor raw material (RM) stock and update Plant In-Charge for timely reservations.
• Control and reduce wastage during production activities.
• Ensure smooth shift handover by communicating plant status, production figures, and issues to the next shift and Plant In-Charge.
• Ensure compliance with quality policies and objectives, including online FG (Finished Goods) inspection.
• Coordinate with QC for FG sampling, collect lab results, and arrange manpower during sampling.
• Ensure production of high-quality products without batch failures.
• Execute monthly production plans issued by HOD/Plant In-Charge.
• Distribute and manage manpower efficiently to ensure optimal productivity.
