Production Merchandising Head-Garment Industry

You will be responsible for leading the production merchandising operations for menswear bottom wear at our growing menswear garment brand. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading production merchandising from the sample stage to bulk production. - Creating and managing T&A calendars to ensure On-Time In-Full delivery. - Coordinating with various teams such as design, sampling, production, fabric, and trim for smooth workflow. - Monitoring and managing PP meetings, fits, sample approvals, costing, BOM, PO issuance, and production follow-ups. - Liaising with vendors, mills, factories, and washing units to ensure quality and timely output. - Tracking material status and production progress, and proactively resolving bottlenecks. - Ensuring accurate production planning, WIP tracking, and daily reporting. - Implementing process improvements, reducing delays, and maintaining production efficiency. - Controlling quality parameters, managing shipment approvals, and ensuring compliance with brand standards. - Leading and guiding the merchandising team for productivity and accountability. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 6-12 years of experience in menswear garment production merchandising, with a focus on bottom wear. - Strong understanding of fabric, trims, garment construction, washing, and sourcing. - Hands-on experience in vendor management, T&A planning, costing, and approvals. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure with tight timelines. - Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and production tracking tools.
