Production Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling:

  Develop and implement production plans to meet project timelines and customer requirements. Coordinate with project management and other departments to ensure seamless execution.

• Team Management:

  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians. Ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards.

• Quality Control:

  Establish and monitor quality control processes in collaboration with the QA team to deliver defect-free products.

• Process Optimization:

  Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and integrate best practices.

• Inventory Management:

  Manage inventory levels of raw materials and components. Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.

• Health & Safety Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Promote a strong safety culture across the production floor.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

  Work closely with engineering, design, and sales teams to address technical requirements and production feasibility.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Analyze KPIs, identify improvement areas, and drive initiatives for operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in

  Production / Manufacturing / Planning

  in heavy fabrication, process equipment manufacturing, or capital goods industry
• Strong background in managing fabrication of

  pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, dryers, condensers, columns, storage tanks, skid systems

• Experience working in

  ASME / IBR / ISO 9001 certified fabrication shops

  Prior exposure to

  welding, machining, quality control, shop floor management
