Production Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet project timelines and customer requirements. Coordinate with project management and other departments to ensure seamless execution. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians. Ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards. Quality Control: Establish and monitor quality control processes in collaboration with the QA team to deliver defect-free products. Process Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and integrate best practices. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and components. Coordinate with procurement for timely material availability. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Promote a strong safety culture across the production floor. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and sales teams to address technical requirements and production feasibility. Continuous Improvement: Analyze KPIs, identify improvement areas, and drive initiatives for operational excellence. Preferred candidate profile Hands-on experience in Production / Manufacturing / Planning in heavy fabrication, process equipment manufacturing, or capital goods industry Strong background in managing fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, dryers, condensers, columns, storage tanks, skid systems Experience working in ASME / IBR / ISO 9001 certified fabrication shops Prior exposure to welding, machining, quality control, shop floor management
