Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Plan and schedule production activities to meet demand forecasts and sales requirements.

• Coordinate with production teams to monitor daily output, quality standards, and timelines.

• Track and manage production bottlenecks, shortages, or breakdowns and escalate as needed.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements during production.

Procurement:

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables in a costeffective and timely manner.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing and quality.

• Develop and maintain vendor relationships while ensuring timely deliveries.

• Monitor inventory levels and trigger timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Inventory & Logistics

• Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.

• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for inward and outward material movement.

• Ensure accurate documentation of purchase orders, GRNs, invoices, and stock registers.

• Implement cost-control measures and minimize wastage.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Quality teams to align production with market demand.

• Support new product launches with timely procurement and production readiness.

• Prepare and share regular MIS reports on procurement status, production plans, and material consumption.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in production planning and procurement (preferably in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing).

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

. • Knowledge of inventory management tools and ERP systems.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
