Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production and packaging operations to meet output, quality, and cost targets.
• Plan and execute production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to

  Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  ,

  ISO standards

  , and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, BIS).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Implement and monitor KPIs for productivity, waste reduction, downtime, and efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and inclusion.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.
• Maintain and report on daily/weekly/monthly production metrics to senior management.
• Champion environmental sustainability initiatives within production processes (e.g., water conservation, waste management, energy efficiency).
• Support the scale-up of new products and process validation in collaboration with the R&D team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering

  , or a related field. A postgraduate qualification in operations or management is a plus.

• Minimum 10-15 years

  of relevant experience in production management, preferably in

  beauty, cosmetics, personal care

  , or

  FMCG manufacturing

• Proven track record of managing teams and delivering operational excellence in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), production planning tools, and quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of GMP, ISO 22716, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
