Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee and streamline our production processes in the clothing industry. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and cost-efficient production of high-quality garments, while maintaining compliance with safety, ethical, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow. Collaborate with design, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align production with market demand. Team Management: Supervise production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians. Provide training and mentorship to improve skills and efficiency within the team. Quality Control: Monitor production quality at every stage to ensure standards are met. Address quality issues promptly to minimize defects or delays. Resource Management: Manage raw materials, equipment, and human resources to maximize efficiency. Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of machinery. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the production budget, focusing on cost control and efficiency. Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to procure materials at competitive rates. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all industry standards, including ethical labor practices and safety regulations. Implement measures to minimize waste and improve sustainability. Problem Solving: Anticipate potential production issues and implement solutions proactively. Manage unforeseen challenges such as equipment breakdowns or material shortages. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within the clothing industry. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, techniques, and machinery. Proficiency in production planning tools and software. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
