Production Manager - Furniture

Looking for a production manager who has experience in interior fit outs and manufacturing of furniture products. (hotel, commercial , residential furniture sector) The desired candidate will monitor the factories performance, manage & allocate manpower and strengthen and develop the organizations production & planning structure and has extensive experience in production management of a furniture / joinery manufacturing company. Role & responsibilities Knowledge of modular furniture, premium furniture for residential, office, hotels & hospitality sectors. To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, delivery, production of Furniture for Interior Fit Out Projects. Manage and coordinate daily operations of the division. Making frequent sites walk with site construction team and giving site decisions, simultaneously ensuring QC of work in progress. Resolving day to day site issues by visiting site and sought consultants resolution where required. Should have strong & extensive knowledge about wood work, metal, paint, materials, fabrics, machinery & furniture design drawings. Should have knowledge of all furniture related machinery, tools etc. Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met. Determining quality control standards. Preparing Production reports and submitting them to users and management Monitoring Input to Output Material requirements, movements as per quality parameters Team Handling, Material handling, stock maintenance, wastage control, material planning & requirement. Preferred candidate profile Proven experience in manufacturing of Modular, premium Furniture is required Engineer by qualification with 10+ years and above experience. Experience in Modular Industry is essential Experience on CNC and other furniture related Machines is essential Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership and managerial attributes. Good organizational and time-management skills Ensure to reduce losses & overall manufacturing costs (Time/ Man/ Machine & Raw Material) Should be comfortable for factory location- Bawal, Haryana.
