Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production process of our furniture manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production team, ensuring efficient workflows, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the production team, including supervisors, technicians, and assembly line workers.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Implement efficient workflows and processes to Increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place and followed by the production team.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Oversee daily operations of the production floor, ensuring resources (materials, equipment, labour) are allocated effectively.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the furniture industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of furniture design and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing is a must.
• Experience in setting up automated CNC furniture production setups is preferred.
• Experience in QMS and implementation of ISO 9001/14001 certification.
