Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems, motors, panels, and generators.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and fix electrical issues, repairing or replacing wiring, outlets, fixtures, and faulty components.
Installation:
Install new electrical systems, controls, lighting, and wiring according to plans and codes.
System Monitoring:
Inspect and test electrical systems (e.g., 120v, 240v, 480v) for hazards and defects.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Compliance:
Ensure all work follows local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with testing devices (voltmeters, ammeters), hand/power tools, reading blueprints/diagrams, and knowledge of electrical codes.
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, and physical fitness.
Experience:
Experience with industrial systems, control systems, HVAC, and utilities is often required.
