Production Manager

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the financials of Plant & Machinery amounting to Rs 1200 Crores and Raw Materials worth Rs 800 Crores annually. You will be accountable for handling a volume of 120 KTPA in Phase-1. Your mandatory requirement includes having extensive experience in leading the production of carbon black. Your key responsibilities will include: - During the Greenfield setup phase, you will develop and improve new and existing processes. - Optimize process parameters to enhance efficiency and productivity. - Troubleshoot process issues and devise effective solutions. - Collaborate with operators to implement process modifications. - Maintain and document process documentation. - Stay updated on the latest process engineering technologies. - Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of new units. - Proficiency in process engineering software such as Aspen Plus, Simio, etc. - Strong knowledge of process equipment and instrumentation. - Ability to interpret process drawings. - Work both independently and as part of a team. - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. In the production of Carbon Black, you will be responsible for: - Efficient planning and coordination to produce various Carbon Black grades. - Monitoring and standardizing process parameters. - Coordinating with intra/inter department personnel. - Fine-tuning key process variables post inline product inspection. - Conducting quality variance analysis through daily quality reports. - Managing indent preparation, GRN approval, and department inventory control. - Monitoring plant condition and performance daily. Your contribution to process improvement will involve: - Enhancing the Quality Management System related to processes to produce quality products for customer satisfaction with cost-effectiveness. Ensuring smooth plant operation is crucial, including: - Reducing plant breakdowns. - Taking a proactive approach to prevent process upsets due to inherent nature.
