Production Manager Auto Parts

As the Production Unit Manager, your role involves managing and overseeing the daily operations to ensure optimal output, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing auto parts. Your responsibilities include: - Coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth operations - Implementing lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced productivity - Ensuring effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and material resources - Monitoring production costs and optimizing processes to reduce wastage and overheads - Ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality management systems - Analyzing production data and preparing regular reports on performance, output, and improvements - Managing a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians by providing proper training, development, and performance management - Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations in the shop floor Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Minimum 5 years of experience in production management in the automotive industry - Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company provides the following benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance This is a full-time position with day shift and morning shift schedules.
