Production Manager Auto Parts

As the Production Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the production unit to ensure optimal output, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing auto parts. Your primary focus will be on meeting delivery schedules, maintaining cost-effectiveness, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with various departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Purchase, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations and effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and material resources. Implementation of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives will be essential to enhance productivity and reduce wastage. Monitoring production costs, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other quality management systems will be key responsibilities. Additionally, analyzing production data, preparing reports on performance and improvements, and managing a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians will be part of your role. It will be crucial for you to focus on proper training, development, and performance management of your team members. Adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations in the shopfloor is a top priority. This is a full-time position with benefits including provided food and health insurance.
