Role & responsibilities

A.Manpower Control

1). Morning meeting with team awareness of plan and achievement data.

2).Manpower Planning and alignment on floors as per production plan.

3). Daily Verify the manpower data for assigned vs actual through system. Here are the major responsibilities of a Manufacturing Production Head:

B.Strategic Planning

1. Develops and implements production plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve business objectives.

2. Aligns production strategies with organizational goals and vision.

3. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.

C.Operations Management

1. Oversees production operations, including setup, production, and packaging.

2. Manages inventory levels, supply chain, and logistics.

3. Ensures compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

D.Quality Control

1. Develops and implements quality control procedures.

2. Conducts quality audits and implements corrective actions.

3. Ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

E.Team Management

1. Leads and develops cross-functional teams, including production staff, engineers, and quality control specialists.

2. Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

3. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

F.Cost Control

1. Manages budgets, optimizes costs, and improves profitability.

2. Analyzes production costs, identifies areas for reduction, and implements cost-saving

initiatives.

3. Develops and implements lean manufacturing principles.

G.Supply Chain Management

1. Manages supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and optimizes inventory levels.

2. Ensures timely delivery of materials and components.

3. Develops and implements supplier quality control procedures.

H.Performance Metrics

1. Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs), including production volume, quality, and efficiency.

2. Develops and implements performance metrics and reporting systems.

3. Identifies trends and areas for improvement.

I.Continuous Improvement

1. Drives innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Implements process improvements and technology upgrades.

3. Encourages employee suggestions and ideas.

J.Safety and Compliance

1. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

2. Conducts regular safety audits and training sessions.

K.Communication

1. Communicates production plans, schedules, and changes to concern responsible team.

2. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, quality, engineering, and Warehouse.

3. Presents production performance metrics and progress reports.

L.Additional Responsibilities

1. Develops and implements emergency response plans.

2. Coordinates with maintenance teams for equipment maintenance and repairs.

3. Participates in industry associations and networking events
