Job Description

Job Title: Production Head / Production Manager

Experience:

Note

The mode of interview will be face-to-face.

The preferred notice period for candidates is immediate to 15-30 days.

Job Summary:

Production Head / Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire production department, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Ensure adherence to production targets in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
Optimize resource utilization manpower, machines, and materials.
Implement and sustain lean manufacturing, 5S, and other productivity improvement tools.
Monitor KPIs OEE, productivity, downtime, rejection rates, etc.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination with the maintenance team.
Manage team performance, training, and skill development.
Collaborate with QA, Design, Purchase, and Supply Chain teams for smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Prepare reports and present performance data to top management.

Key Skills & Requirements:

B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
1015 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automation/SPM/heavy engineering.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong knowledge of production planning tools, shop floor control, and lean manufacturing.
Familiarity with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
