Production Footwear Manager

The production manager shall be at FootSecure, Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology & Research, Bangalore. The candidate will be reporting to the Clinical Orthotist located at the premises.

The candidate shall contribute to the vision of “Enabling people to get back on their feet and enhance mobility through accessible podiatric and wound care solutions”, thus preventing amputations due to diabetes and saving lives.

The role of the Manager is to coordinate all the production activities, raw materials, and hiring staff. This would include planning and execution of production, manufacturing, and dispatch of footwear, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and defining production goals. Addressing customer grievances, modifications and customisations of the therapeutics footwear are also included.

The candidate should know of

• Machinery, Equipment and Raw Material procurement, assembly and have it functional.
• Techniques for therapeutics footwear construction, manufacturing, finishing, and packing, including cutting, closing, assembly etc.
• Characteristics, components, advantages/disadvantages of various natural, synthetic materials.
• Footwear Design & Components
• Assessing raw material and finished footwear quality
• Visiting to meet doctors, explain about the footwear and get orders of footwear.
• Processes ensuring the Safety, Health and Welfare of the staff Skills Expected
• Interpersonal Skills
• Conflict handling
• Productivity planning
• Communicate with patients
• Documentation
• IT Skills
• Goal-oriented leadership Experience
• 2 years of experience in small-scale footwear (sandals, sneakers, leather shoes)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
