Production Engineer

Job Description

Experience - 5+ years in production engineering within the manufacturing and engineering industry. - Strong technical expertise in CNC/VMC machine programming and setting. Responsibilities Achieve production targets by ensuring timely completion and optimal resource utilization. Monitor and reduce part rejection rates through continuous process improvements. Improve and sustain Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to maximize efficiency. Efficiently allocate and manage manpower, machines, and materials for smooth production operations. Program and set up CNC/VMC machines for new product development. Implement and maintain quality standards and documentation. Uphold workplace organization and safety through 5S principles. Requirements Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems. Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and enhance productivity. Hands-on experience with new part and fixture development. Familiarity with cutting tools, materials, and tool selection. Understanding of automation systems and GD&T principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities.
