Job Description

As a Production Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, your primary role will be to oversee and optimize chemical processes in manufacturing, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. You will need to maintain good manufacturing practices, train personnel, and troubleshoot production issues. Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the production process by preparing schedules, providing guidelines to operators, and reviewing documentation. Developing and improving standard operating procedures will be crucial to ensure efficiency and consistency in the production process. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining good manufacturing practices to adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure a safe working environment. Identifying and resolving production issues as they arise will be part of your routine tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality by conducting tests and analyses to meet quality standards. Keeping accurate records of production activities and quality control data will be essential. Compliance with safety and environmental regulations is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all applicable regulations. Providing training to junior chemists and production operators on production processes, safety protocols, and quality control procedures will be part of your role. Offering technical support to production personnel by assisting with technical questions and troubleshooting will also be necessary. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure smooth production processes. Other responsibilities will include monitoring inventory of raw materials, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, conducting experiments and tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports and documentation for production activities and quality control. This is a full-time position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, leave encashment, and provident fund. The preferred education requirement is a Bachelor's degree, and preferred experience includes 3 years in production chemistry, sweets and savouries production, and food laboratory. This position requires in-person work.,
