Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production Chemist with hands-on experience in cosmetic or personal care production The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and compliant production processes, maintain product quality, and support continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and execute production batches for skin care, cosmetics, and oral care formulations Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and internal SOPs during production Collaborate with R&D and QA/QC teams to scale formulations from lab to production Maintain proper documentation of batch records, raw material usage, and production logs Operate and monitor mixing, filling, and packaging equipment as required Identify and troubleshoot production issues to maintain smooth operations Support training and supervision of production staff to maintain high-quality standards Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications:

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science, or a related field

Hard Skills:

Knowledge of cosmetic or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and safety procedures Equipment operation and calibration Documentation and batch record keeping Understanding of raw materials and emulsification techniques

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and teamwork abilities Problem-solving mindset and adaptability Time management and ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role within the cosmetics, skin care, or oral care industry Experience working in a private label or contract manufacturing setup is a plus
