As a Production & Maintenance Engineer at our client's Third-Party Contract Manufacturing (3PM) site, your role involves coordinating production activities and ensuring the maintenance of assets/equipment. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: **Role Overview:** You will serve as the central point of contact, liaising between the client company Sales team and the 3PM facility to manufacture dispensing products as per customer requirements. Your focus will be on monitoring inventory levels, optimizing production processes, and maintaining strong relationships with the 3PM. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as a liaison between the client company Sales team and the 3PM facility for manufacturing dispensing products. - Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and ensure sufficient supplies are available. - Analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency. - Build and maintain relationships with 3PM to ensure timely delivery of supplies. - Prepare reports on supply chain performance and collaborate with other 3PM teams for smooth operations. - Develop safety protocols and enforce them to maintain a safe working environment. - Plan and oversee routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance. - Implement proactive maintenance strategies, comply with safety regulations, and optimize equipment life cycles. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and support in designing tools and fixtures for product testing. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. - 3-4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance. - Strong understanding of engineering principles with knowledge of injection molding and assembly of plastic components. - Ability to analyze information, diagnose problems, and develop solutions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and make decisions under pressure. - Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
