Product Owner - Master Data Management

Location: Noida/ Chennai/ Bangalore
Experience: 11-15 years

Role Overview:

Responsible for defining and managing the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the enterprise MDM platform. Ensures that Data domains are consistently defined, governed, and synchronized across systems.
Acts as a bridge between Business stakeholders, Data governance teams, and technical delivery teams, ensuring MDM capabilities deliver tangible business value through trusted, high-quality master data.

Experience:

1. 11+ years of experience in experience in Data Management, with at least 3+ years in MDM initiatives
2. Proven experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst / Data Governance Lead in MDM or Data Governance projects.
3. Strong understanding of MDM platforms (e.g. Semarchy), Data governance frameworks, Data Catalogues (e.g. Atlan), and Data quality processes.
4. Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models and backlog tools (Jira, Confluence)
5. Knowledge of Python or SQL for data validation or analysis is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and drive the MDM roadmap to deliver harmonized, trusted Master data
2. Prioritize Backlog
3. Gather Requirements
4. Align with Governance/Architecture standards
5. Ensure Integration
6. Monitor adoption of best practices and guidelines

Required Skills:

Technical:

1. Strong expertise in Semarchy and Atlan
2. Good Knowledge of Snowflake and SQL
3. In-depth knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and MDM frameworks
4. Strategic mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business outcomes.
5. Deep understanding of enterprise data domains and integration landscapes.
