Job Description

Skills:

Product Management, Agile Methodologies, Stakeholder Management, User Story Writing, Prioritization, Market Research, Cross-functional Collaboration, Roadmap Planning,. Key Duties/Responsibilities. Own the Backlog for a specific product or products.

Responsible for defining the vision, strategy for our API products.

Created User stories for API development.

Serve as primary point of contact for API related queries and issues. Champion the delivery of product functionality to support strategic roadmap.

Responsible for analysis, gathering and documentation of functional and non-functional requirementsfrom all areas of the business.

Work with the Development team to document user stories that are deliverable within a 2-week sprintthat have very clear and testable acceptance criteria that Developers/QA engineers can interpret anddeliver.

Work with the Design Team to help validate user stories that meet user expectations and deliverbusiness outcomes.

Support technical backlog grooming to enable task breakdown and estimation.

To act as an interface between the business, design and development team in communicating &refining requirements. To own, drive & refine the detailed requirement gathering process.

Participate in prototyping of new functionality.

Own & deliver all customer facing software release related documentation i.e. release notes, etc.

Essential Capabilities. Should have at least 10 years of work experience in the Product Owner or similar role.

Strong understanding of REST APIs standards and protocols.

Ability to design API specs.

Ability to explain the business flow to clients and internal stakeholders.

Detail oriented with very strong Communication skills. Experience In a Product Driven SaaS Company. Get things done attitude and willingness to own a problem.

Proven ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced customer facing software environment.

Very strong interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to the finer points of detail.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Have the ability to produce wireframes and detailed process flows.

Strong knowledge of relational database models and SQL.

Strong knowledge and experience in building Data Modeling diagrams (E.g. ERDs). Possess knowledge and experience of agile development methodology.

Prior knowledge and experience in any of the following:Capital Markets, Market Abuse and TradeSurveillance, Sanction screening, Anti Money Laundering, Third Party Due Diligence, Data analyticstools.

Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.

Expertise in industry standard modelling tools and methods.

Ability to write software product docu. mentation.

Education Criteria:B.E/B.Tech or an equivalent degree in Technology. Any formal Product Owner training or certification would be a plus.

Fluent spoken and very good written English
