Product Owner – AI-Powered Construction SaaS

What You’ll Do

• Own the Product Vision

• Shape, refine, and champion the product vision from POC stage to MVP and beyond.
• Align product goals with company strategy and market needs.

• Continuous Research & Validation

• Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend tracking — especially in

  construction tech

  and

  AI applications

  .
• Gather insights from early adopters, SMEs, and potential customers to validate features before they’re built.
• Identify market gaps, opportunities, and risks to keep the product relevant and competitive.

• Translate Research into Action

• Create and maintain a clear product backlog with prioritised, well-defined requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer to ensure technical implementation aligns with validated requirements.
• Adjust scope or priorities based on feedback, research, or new findings.

• Be the Link Between Stakeholders & Development

• Act as the voice of the customer in every product decision.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, developers, and external partners to ensure alignment.
• Run sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product review sessions.

• Measure, Learn, and Iterate

• Define and track KPIs for the POC and MVP stages.
• Analyse product performance and user feedback to inform iterative improvements.
• Ensure the product roadmap is adaptable to both market shifts and technological advances.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a

  Product Owner, Product Manager, or SaaS Research Analyst

  .
• Strong background in

  market research, competitor analysis, and product validation

  .
• Experience in

  SaaS

  (AI or construction industry knowledge is a bonus).
• Exceptional communication skills — able to break down complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in

  fast-moving, early-stage product environments

  .
• Ability to balance big-picture strategy with day-to-day tactical decisions.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in real-world industries.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles.
• Familiarity with construction project workflows or PropTech solutions.
