To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in product research, market research, or competitive intelligence. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in research tools, SQL, Excel, and data visualization software, as well as excellent communication and report-writing skills are essential. Additionally, experience in SaaS, IT, or e-commerce industries, knowledge of AI-driven market research tools, and familiarity with customer journey mapping and UX research are considered advantageous.
