About the Role

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience and identify gaps, opportunities, and unmet needs.
• Generate new product ideas that improve customer experience, grow market share, and drive business growth.
• Create buy-in for product vision among internal stakeholders and strategic external partners.
• Should be able to market trends – Read market trends and develop products in line with future trends/demands

Product Development & Execution

• Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, specifications, and prototypes.
• Prioritize product roadmap activities based on business impact, customer value, and resource availability.
• Work closely with engineering, R&D, and operations teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Lead product launches in collaboration with PR, marketing, sales, and senior leadership teams.
• Align product development with Organisations sustainability development goals & global compliances.

Pricing, Positioning & Go-to-Market

• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies based on market research, competitive intelligence, and production costs.
• Drive marketing plans and promotional strategies ensuring alignment with product objectives.
• Act as the product evangelist to build internal and market-level awareness.

Market Engagement & Business Growth

• Represent the company in customer visits, industry events, and technical meetings to gather feedback and strengthen market insights.
• Conduct ROI analysis for new products and prepare short-term and long-term sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to bring new products to market effectively.

QualificationsEducational Background

• B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• MBA in marketing/related fields is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Associate Product Manager.
• 10–15 years of experience in industrial product management; exposure to direct/key account/channel sales is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience working with technical, quality, and cross-functional teams through complete product life cycles.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience

  in product management or in an associate product manager role, preferably within industrial or technical product domains.
• Demonstrated ability to

  develop strong product and marketing strategies

• Expertise in working with cross-functional teams
