Product Manager - Plant Nutrition

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Development

• Define and implement product strategies aligned with market needs and company objectives.

• Oversee the development and enhancement of plant nutrition products by collaborating with R&D and technical teams.

• Identify market gaps and opportunities for new product introductions.

2. Market Analysis and Positioning

• Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

• Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans.

• Monitor product performance and adapt strategies as required to ensure market competitiveness.

3. Technical Support and Training

• Provide technical expertise to the sales team and customers regarding plant nutrition products.

• Conduct product training sessions and workshops for internal teams and external stakeholders.

4. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure product success.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries.

5. Product Lifecycle Management

• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch to post-launch evaluation.

• Continuously assess product performance and customer feedback to drive improvements.

6. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all products comply with industry regulations and standards.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting the plant nutrition industry.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in the plant nutrition or agribusiness sector.

• Strong understanding of plant nutrition products, their applications, and market trends.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and product management tools.

• Willingness to travel as needed
