Product Manager- IVD

Role & responsibilities

The Product Manager - IVD will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a comprehensive diagnostics (IVD) portfolio, starting with the identification, integration and expansion of the acquired asset. The role will focus on portfolio strategy, OEM partnerships, contract manufacturing, and global sourcing, with the objective of creating a competitive, scalable, and cost-efficient IVD product pipeline.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap

• Build and own the IVD product roadmap across rapid tests, immunoassays, and adjacent diagnostic categories like Biochemistry, Haematology and eventually extending up to Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology & Cytology.
• Evaluate gaps in the current portfolio and define build/buy/partner decisions.
• Prioritise products based on market demand, public health relevance, margins, and scalability.

OEM & Contract Manufacturing

• Identify, evaluate, and manage OEM and contract manufacturing partners in India, China, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, and other relevant geographies.
• Lead product sourcing, technical evaluations, pricing negotiations, and long-term supply agreements.
• Ensure consistency in quality, documentation, and regulatory readiness across partners.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Work closely with R&D, QA/RA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to Launch new products, Licensing and approvals under Bioradmedisys brand, Improve existing SKUs, Drive cost optimisation and localisation
• Own product documentation, specifications, positioning, and differentiation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with sales, tender, and marketing teams to support Government and institutional tenders, Distributor enablement and Key account requirements
• Act as the single point of authority for assigned product categories.

Ideal Background & Experience

• 6-12 years of experience in IVD/diagnostics product management
• Strong exposure to OEM partnerships, Contract manufacturing and Global sourcing (China, South Korea, Germany, Southeast Asia)
• Good understanding of regulatory, quality, and manufacturing constraints
• Ability to operate comfortably across science, supply chain, and commercial teams
• Excellent Excel Skills & Presentation Skills, ability to leverage AI platforms
