Product Lead, Billing

You will be responsible for leading the development and innovation of Rippling's billing infrastructure. This includes working closely with an engineering team to build a platform that supports contracting, product pricing, custom packages, and unique sales channels. Your role will involve managing subscriptions and revenue collection. You will collaborate across teams, including sales, finance, business operations, and go-to-market to refine pricing models and sales packages. Additionally, you will support all product teams at Rippling to ensure their products reach the customers effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a comprehensive billing roadmap for a multi-product business, accounting for multiple currencies, reseller and partner billing channels, and custom pricing arrangements for larger enterprise customers - Build and maintain internal tools allowing sales and operations teams to build contracts, apply discounts, and facilitate closing deals - Work with Rippling's product teams to launch new products and enter new markets - Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop forecasting, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Collaborate with go-to-market teams to develop and refine pricing models and packaging strategies - Assist customer success and support teams in resolving billing inquiries, disputes, and escalations promptly Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of product management or founding experience - Strong understanding of billing systems, revenue recognition, and subscription-based business models - Self-starter with excellent time management skills - Ability to understand complexity and transform it into simple user experiences - Deep technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills - Strong ability to motivate and inspire people to do their best work - Relentlessly focused on customers" needs - Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles, particularly "Push the limits of possible", "Challenge each other", and "Go and see",
