Job Description

We are hiring a skilled Product Engineer - Electrical / Controls with 4 to 6 years of experience. This role is central to the design and development of robust electrical control systems for our diverse product range. Your primary responsibilities will include the detailed design of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, including hardware selection, programming logic, and interface development. You will also be responsible for the comprehensive design of Switchgear, which involves creating precise electrical schematics, panel layouts, and component selections (e.g., circuit breakers, contactors, relays, protective devices) to ensure safety and functionality. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, control principles, electrical safety standards, and relevant codes. You will generate Bill of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and operational manuals. Collaboration with mechanical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams will be crucial to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall product designs and to support the manufacturing process. Your problem-solving skills will be vital in troubleshooting electrical design issues and optimizing system performance and reliability.
