Product Documentation Specialist

You are a skilled Product Documentation Specialist responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for a suite of products. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure user-friendly documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include: - Creating, updating, and maintaining product documentation such as user guides, setup/configuration manuals, feature-level documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting articles. - Working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Support teams to gather information and maintain consistency in voice, formatting, and terminology across all documents. - Developing internal documentation for onboarding new team members and cross-functional teams. - Tracking documentation versioning, managing updates with each release cycle, and creating release notes for major and minor product releases. - Suggesting improvements in the structure and delivery of help content and auditing existing documentation to eliminate redundancy or outdated content. Skills & Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in Technical Writing or Product Documentation. - Strong command of written English with attention to clarity, tone, and detail. - Ability to understand complex product features and communicate them clearly. - Proficiency in tools like Confluence, Notion, Google Docs, and Markdown editors. - Capability to manage multiple documentation tasks in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in documenting SaaS or enterprise software platforms. - Exposure to POS, ERP, or restaurant-tech domain is advantageous. - Familiarity with tools like Figma, Swagger, or Postman for API documentation. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum product development cycles.
